Important Message to All Current NCTA Members

Please read!

As already announced, NCTA is planning to migrate the website, ncta.org, and all associated data, including all member data, to a new platform starting April 20th. The new site will be modern, responsive, and mobile-friendly, as well as feature social media integration and security measures such as SSL encryption.

This migration involves migrating all current membership data to the new platform, and while we are confident that nearly all the data can be ported over securely without loss, there are a few items that we will not be able to migrate. We are very likely not able to migrate your password to the new site, for the simple reason that you are the only person who has access to your own password. You will therefore be asked to reset your password on the new site on or before April 20th! We will send another message about this at the time of the migration, scheduled for the last week of April.

Further, if you are participating in our referral service and have set up a profile, there are certain profile data that we cannot migrate. These are:

  • Your profile photo, if applicable
  • Your CV/resume, if applicable
  • Your social media links (LinkedIn, Xing, Twitter, Facebook, Google+ profile), if applicable

If you uploaded or set up any of these elements in your profile, please make sure that you have a backup on your local computer so that you can add this information back to your profile on the new site.

NCTA.org will be offline from April 20th to April 22nd due to an update of the DNS server information!

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, we are certain that the flexibility of the new site will make up for these inconveniences. If you have any questions, please contact the NCTA Webmaster.

This is just a preliminary announcement, and we will send more information around the time of migration, scheduled between April 20th and April 22nd. Please watch your inbox for further news.

Thank you for your patience,

Carola Berger
